Hi! I started playing guitar about 2 years ago at age 21, inspired completely by AC/DC. Actually, I always heard about them before that but never really focused on their music. About a month after I started watching their electric performances and hearing Angus' buzzsaw riffs, I developed a strong desire to get an SG and scream them out myself. I first picked up an old guitar I had purchased at age 13 but played only 2 months on summer break during school days. After wiping off the dust I started hacking away on my own, trying to crack some basic music theory online and then copy some of my favorite riffs. Many neighbor complaints, headaches and fingeraches later - 1 year - I bought an SG standard and stepped my game up with the help of youtube players like SoloDallas. Now I'm in a band playing alternative rock and I'm slowly getting the guys to squeeze in some AC/DC. I play basically nothing more than pentatonics and strive to create tones and riffs like AC/DC's, because that's what makes me satisfied and drives me to pick that guitar up whenever I get a chance. I love rock n roll drenched blues. And for now, that's all I care to play.
