Hi Johnny,
i read in a german test that the new Celestion G12-65 has stronger deep mids and sounds not exactly like the old G12-65.
Take an original old G12-65 or the ET65 from WGS. The WGS speaker sounds 99% like the original old G12-65. I can state this because i have both in the same box.

like he said above… it depends on what its going to be used for… u don’t need a 300 watt bass amp for the studio. and at a live venue, everything will be “mic’d” up anyways so u could have a small 5 watt tube amp and still be fine.

No, not yet. Final prices will depend on a few still unknown things: production costs, case manufacturing, final part list, compliance tests…but we will tell as soon as possible, of course.

I don’t think there is a maximum. I suppose just at the point the volume becomes impractical. Too much bleed in the studio, balancing issues in a med venue.
Also, clean sound requires high headroom in an amp. Obviously SS and Valve amp wattage ratings are not the same in practice.
Are you asking what power amp you’d need?
